I made a simple router jig for radiusing the fingerboard. Found the instructions on another forum and tried to copy, as usual. Completely out of scrap wood, as usual. Let the three pictures speak more than 3000 words.

...and the steel bars sit on radiused ends. This time both ends have the Martin standard 16" radius, but one or both could be easily replaced to another radii, to make a compound radius from 16" to 20", for instance. With flat ends the same jig could be used for thicknessing the fingerboard blank before slotting as well. |
