Finishing continued

I decided to experiment a bit with different coating. So far I've finished my guitars with french polished shellac. This time I'm trying wiped Tru Oil finish, which I might polish to a shine with shellac later. The process is still under it's way, but I'm almost certain I'm coming back to french polishing again.
Well anyway, here's some stage pics of the current stage. No top pic this time, because the back and sides are still wet.

Finishing again

It's become time to continue with the baritone project. I've been sanding and filling the pores of rosewood, shaping and sanding the neck and put the first coat of Tru Oil on it.

The redwood top seems to take finish really nice. The ugly dirty thing on the binding is epoxy glue used to fill the pores. It'll be scraped flush in the next stage.

Here's an interior view taken with a long exposure time. All the bracing is really messy because of the sanding dust from rosewood. A very small cleaning person needed!
