The project's on it's way. I got a sinker redwood top and a rosewood/abalone rosette for it. To my eye, it looks pretty handsome! The tap tone is very deep.
Sinker redwood comes from the huge logs that sunk to the bottom of the river some 100 years ago and was rescued & surfaced in our times and sawn into nice, colorfull "sediment-flavoured" tops.
Soundwise redwood is supposed to be the best worlds of both spruce & western red cedar together. That remains to be heard...

Mahtavan näköiset nuo puun syyt ja rosettekin! Näyttää todella hyväsoundiselta hommalta... Pitää sitten päästä kuulemaan ja vertaamaan kaikkia Koskelan erimateriaalisia laitteita!
